Hi everyone,

Please feel free to use this thread to introduce yourself. Give as much or as little information as you want (where your from, how long you have been chanting, ect.). It is easier to build a community if we know more about each other.

9 may i will get my gohonzon, i'm looking forward to it!

owyeah, i act like a ddr-humorist; i don't think the first letters are somehow more important, so i will not use capitals ^^

i'm reading the lotus sutra right now, as well as the heart sutra (allthough you people believe in only one sutra right..?)

Keigu,

Congratulations!  I know you will have a victorious practice.  Also, we recognize the Lotus Sutra as the primary sutra, but please keep studying ALL buddhist texts and gain knowledge.  Knowledge is Power and wisdom is Liberation!!!

namaste!

wonderfull!

The teachings here in the netherlands are pretty dull, they think the lotus sutra is the only true word... i thought that was way to christian anyway... and, now i see that is correct.

wonderfull, please, since the buddhist in the netherlands aren't much help with gaining knowledge, what other sutra's and texts do you suggest for a beginning buddhist?

(if i need to look before posting; i'm sorry.)

and thanks for the stimulation ^^
